Named for a rapper killed in the violence Comuna 13 has since moved past, Casa Kolacho is a working hip hop school that runs breakdance and rap workshops for local kids and, for visitors, a short session plus a live performance from resident artists. The donation charged goes directly back into the program rather than to a tour operator, which is part of the point of visiting. Booking through a Comuna 13 walking tour is the usual way in, though the house also takes drop in visitors on quieter afternoons.
