Set inside a converted steel factory in Ciudad del Rio, MAMM trades the ornate galleries most museums default to for raw concrete and exposed beams that suit the contemporary Colombian and Latin American work on the walls. The permanent collection includes photography documenting the city's own transformation, which lands differently here than it would anywhere else. The ground floor cafe is a good stop even on a day without a full visit planned.
